Deck Building Rules

Last updated 5 months ago

Starting point: 3 Heroes

All decks start with 3 Heroes.

Each Hero comes with:

  • a unique quest, included in the deck

  • its own set of base resources, allowing them to play cards

Adding Other Cards

After the heroes, any combination of Item, Action or Quest cards can be added to the deck, while respecting those constraints:

  • Item or Action: at most 2 copies

  • Quests: only 1 copy

  • Starting Deck must contain at least 20 cards

  • The deck has a max of 40 cards. A common build is 20 cards in the Starting Deck and 20 cards in the Archives.

Element Constraint

Most cards are related to an element, shown by their background color. They can be included only if one of the Heroes has this element.

Neutral cards can be included in every deck.

Example: a deck with 2 Fire Heroes and an Earth Hero can include Fire, Earth and Neutral cards.
